Session 1: 21st Century Education & MOOCs
We are expecting students of the new generation who are very familiar with many different kinds of technology. The world is changing rapidly with technology and so is education. It seems many people are obsessed with MOOCs these days. Many higher education schools and programs are adopting this new trend and incorporating them into their curricula. However, as you observed from this week's readings, there are some negatives to consider. Here is a question for the discussion. Can MOOCs become an educational utopia by providing ideal and ubiquitous environment for education? Or just another fad that vanishes as quickly as it came?
